IMPORTANT NOTICE: The candidates who intend to obtain photocopies of their OMR sheets alongwith answer keys may apply for the same alongwith requisite fee of Rs. 250/-, upto 31 of January, 2026, through crossed bank draft drawn in favour of Chief Coordinator, UIAMS(Exams.) PU, payable at Chandigarh. The application should be sent to the Chief Coordinator, UIAMS (Exam. Wing) Aruna Ranjit Chandra Hall, Near Post office, Panjab University, Sector-14, Chandigarh-160014. The candidates should mention their Roll No., Post applied for, Name & address correctly in the application. The photocopy of OMR sheet and answer key will be provided only to the candidates through speed post. Application submitted on behalf of the candidate and incomplete application will be summarily rejected without any further reference.

RECRUITMENT NOTICE


ON-LINE applications are invited on or before November 26, 2025 by 11.59 PM from eligible candidates for filling up two (02) posts of Junior Draftsman (01 unreserved & 01 SC) in the pay matrix Level 4 (with initial start of Rs. 25500/-) as per 7th CPC as per Union Territory of Chandigarh Employees (Revised Pay) Rules, 2023 in the Architecture Wing Deptt. of Urban Planning, Chandigarh Administration under the provisions laid down in the Recruitment Rules i.e Department of Urban Planning, Architecture Wing (Group-C) (Non-Ministerial) Junior Draftsman Recruitment Rules, 2025, on regular basis as per detail given below

For details regarding qualifications, age, experience, nationality of the applicant, category wise vacancies, selection criteria including details of written examination, application fee and how to apply online etc. as well as for other terms and conditions, candidates are advised to visit the department website https://urbanplanning.chd.gov.in on which the link shall be available w.e.f November 06, 2025. Eligible applicants may submit online applications. The last date for submission of the application form will be November 26, 2025 and for deposit of fee, the last date will be November 29, 2025. The application other than online mode shall not be accepted.

  2. The Chandigarh Administration (Deptt. of Urban Planning, Chandigarh Administration) reserves the right to change any condition / criteria or cancel the recruitment process without assigning any reason.
  3. The candidate must ensure that he/she fulfills all the education qualification, experience, age relaxation etc. before the last date of submission of application.
  4. The candidates are required to get their CGPA converted into percentage of marks from their respective Universities / Institutes.
